Patricia Guarch Wise.
editor and founder.
Patricia started miami nice pop up after getting, perhaps more than a little, obsessed with Miami after moving away for school in Boston and then New York. She's just graduated from NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Studies, where you design your own concentration, basically don't have to take any class in particular and promote and provoke the kind of thinking that leads to crazy little projects and publications like this one. Her major is in Image Construction and Representation, sometimes she calls it Trendforecasting, sometimes she calls it Cultural Curation, and all the time she uses miami nice as her case study.
She wears sunscreen, likes croquettas de yuca, and reads a lot on the subway in New York, even though she gets motion sick sometimes. More seriously, she's interested in developing cultural communities, preserving artistic tradition, publications as a curatorial lifestyle influence, and the internet as a hub for local communication.

Alexandra Valls.
contributing writer and music editor.
quien es Alex Valls: Emerson College Graduate, studied marketing communications and sociology. Born and raised in Miami with her large Hispanic family. Alex had early exposure to beauty, love and magic (no, not Santeria; Disney World and all things wonderfully corporate). As a Cuban who loves the rock and the roll as well as the teachings of Buddha, it is only natural that she casually and calmly tests authority and questions the government.
Starting September of this year, Alex is moving to the west coast to work in the Entertainment industry where she will continue exposing culture and lifestyle to the greater US audience, while maintaining her miami nice ties.
To venture into her mind and hands: wanderlust a la valls

Jorge Azze.
contributing writer and sports/boy stuff editor.
| J. Azze, sports editor, looking defeated on Univision at a Canes game. |
Jorge Azze, or just Jazz, loves Miami. Like, really loves it. Some of his favorite things about this city are billboards in spanish, the lack of seasonal weather change, the use of "bro", and bandwagon sports fans. Coincidentally (or not), those qualify as most people's least favorite things about Miami.
He works at República, a local ad agency on Coral Way, and goes to FIU. He's miami nice's boy stuff/sports editor, and is particularly interested in Miami as a sports town. We're the ultimate bandwagon town, everyone hates us for it, and we don't really care because we have other stuff to do, so they hate us more. It's pretty awesome and nice.

Some of his other writing can be found at Dime Magazine and The Bandwagon City.
